CENTRAL HEIGHTS, TX (KTRE) -

The moment of truth is near for the Central Heights Blue Devils.

The boys baseball team is surging forward in the state tournament.

After pulling off an impressive series win last week against Hughes Springs, they are now off to the state semi-finals.

Central Heights will square-off against Bushland.

"They've always talked about we're going to win state and that kind of stuff, but there's probably 200 other schools or teams that thought they were going to win state," said Craig Fuller, Central Heights baseball coach.

Fuller anticipates a close game.

However, he thinks Central Heights has a good shot at winning.

They leave for the state tournament tomorrow morning at 9.

If they win on Wednesday, they'll play the championship game on Thursday.

They are playing at Dell Diamond Stadium, home of the Round Rock Express Baseball Club, near Austin.
