Trinity motorcyclist dies after crash, recovery

POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Trinity man died Sunday evening following a motorcycle wreck in which he actually managed to recover from before driving to a nearby convenience store and dying.

Dwight Andrew Sadler, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Department of Public Safety report, Sadler was driving a 1997 Harley Davidson northbound on FM 3126, four miles west of Livingston, at 5:25 p.m., when he crashed on the east side of the road.

Sadler then got back on the motorcycle and drove to Airport Quick Stop, located at 4931 FM 350, got off the motorcycle and sat down behind it and died.

He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.
