Kaleigh Christmas is teaching toddlers how to tumble.
This class is all about the little ones learning to position themselves and getting the basics down.
"Making sure that one of the first steps is safety. That's extremely important," said Christmas, gymnastics instructor.
The girls enjoy every minute of it.
"I like this class," said Kendall Lopez, 4.
"I love the balance beam," added Corrin Constante, 3.
Christmas says she feels this is one of the ways she can give back.
"It makes me feel like a better person. It makes me feel like I'm doing something for the community," she said.
These tiny tots enjoy the hands-on instruction she provides.
"She puts us up on the monkey bars," said Lopez.
Aside from the fun these kids have, their instructor says it's all about safety and persistence.
"I've had a traumatic cheer experience. I was dropped, and I've had brain surgery. And, it's taught me to get up and keep going. And that's what I want to teach other kids is, when you fall, don't stop. Always get up," said Christmas.
And these girls are learning these basics and determination rather quickly.
"I tumble and then I flip. And, I put my feet inside my chest," recalled Constante.
