Belt homers in rehab start

FRESNO, CA (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt homered Wednesday night in a rehabilitation start with the San Francisco Giants' triple A farm club.

Belt hit the home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to right-center field, according to the Fresno Grizzlies website.

Belt has been making rehab starts in the minor leagues after injuring his wrist in May after he was hit by a pitch.

The home run was Belt's fifth with the Grizzlies this year.
