ALTO, TX (KTRE) - The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of an Alto man charged with robbing a convenience store.
Det. John Raffield said Christian Charles Corbell, 23, was arraigned Wednesday, with a judge setting a total bond at $219,000.
Raffield said Corbell broke into the OT Allen Funeral Home in Alto before he robbed the convenience store on the corner of U.S. 69 and State Highway 21.

A Cherokee County deputy arrived on the scene and saw the suspect vehicle and stopped it. Corbell then got out of the car and ran into the woods, according to the report.
TDCJ track and pack dogs were brought to the scene to look for Corbell for four hours. At about 5:45 a.m., a local citizen aware of the search called authorities and told them he saw him walking on a county road outside Alto.
Deputies arrived at the scene and arrested Corbell. Rusk Police assisted in the manhunt.
The suspect will be charged with one count of aggravated robbery, two counts of evading arrest, one count of resisting arrest and one count of burglary of a building.
