Baseball Camp Helps Cancer Survivor

HUDSON, TX (KTRE) - Hudson, TX (KTRE)- A group of former East Texas baseball greats are teaming up to help out a boy fighting brain cancer.

Some of you will remember Titus Grigg, a seven-year-old who is recovering from medulloblastoma.

When former Lufkin, SFA and Professional baseball player Hayland Hardy heard of the Grigg struggles he decided to help. Along with Rusty Ford, retired coach Jack Lee and current Hudson Head Baseball Coach Glenn Kimble, Hardy will host a benefit camp for the Grigg's.

The camp begins July 25th at the Hudson High School baseball field

The camp is donation based, and the suggested price is $20, but any contributions are welcome. Third through sixth graders will meet from 9 am to 11 am, while seventh through twelfth graders are to meet from noon to 2:30 PM.

For any more information regarding the camp please contact Hayland Hardy at (903)-569-7479.
