LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police have arrested a man accused of stealing a coin-operated air and water dispenser from a convenience store in October 2010.

The investigation involved using surveillance video from Okay Food Store, located at 3122 Atkinson Drive, which showed a man, later identified as James Robert Monday, 66, of Pollok, using a truck and chain to pull the machine from the ground and driving away, dragging the machine behind him, according to the police report.

Crime Stoppers of Lufkin broadcast the security video on KTRE on Oct. 11 and received tips identifying Monday as the suspect.

Police arrested Monday at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Angelina County Courthouse when a deputy with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office requested an officer respond to the location.

The officer arrested Monday on the theft warrant, as well as four outstanding Class C misdemeanor warrants.

Monday posted a $1,000 bail on Monday.
