Commissioner Has New Attorney

Nacogdoches County Commissioner Norman Henderson has a different attorney to represent him in with fighting criminal charges filed against him.

Henderson's former attorney Tim James' request to be withdrawn from the case was granted. James stated in his motion that Henderson was unable to complete his contractual obligation.

Henderson will now be represented by Houston attorney Joseph Nealy. Henderson is accused of theft by a public servant and abuse of official capacity.

Jury selection is scheduled for January 26th, with the trial beginning the following day.
