Body of dismembered special needs boy discovered, boy's father confesses August 15, 2011 at 4:22 PM CDT - Updated June 25 at 2:34 AM By Joshua Auzenne - email THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) - Police have scheduled a 2 p.m. news conference to update the public on the investigation into the murder and dismemberment of a 7-year-old special needs boy. According to the Thibodaux Police Department, Jeremiah Wright, 30, said he killed his son, Jori Lirette, because he was tired of taking care of him. The child was confined to a wheelchair and required a feeding tube. Investigators said the boy's head was found in front of the house and his body was located in a garbage bag down the street.
