LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy after forcing him to watch pornographic movies.
Police arrested William Bass, 55, of Lufkin, on Tuesday, following an investigation which began on Aug. 15, after a 14-year-old boy told his mother Bass assaulted him.
According to reports, the boy and his family know Bass and the child was allowed to spend the night at Bass' home.
The victim stated Bass had been drinking and was drunk the night he stayed with him.
The teen also said he and Bass watched several DVD movies of adult pornography, all while the suspect masturbated.
The victim said he was later sexually assaulted on two different occasions when he went to bed that night.
Medical exams confirmed the boy was assaulted. Police were able to obtain a search warrant for the suspect's residence, to collect evidence for the case. They claim to have found several DVD movies of pornography that were described by the victim.
Bass was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of display of harmful material to a minor.
Bass surrendered himself at the Angelina County Jail on Tuesday. His bond is set at $106,500.
