JASPER CO., TX. (KTRE) - Sunday proved to be another busy day for firefighters in Jasper County.

The larger of the two fires broke out in the northwestern part of the county and has destroyed about 50 acres of land off FM 255 and County Road 39.  Texas Forest Service is using bulldozers and helicopters to fight the fire.

Officials say no homes or structures were threatened.
