ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

An Angelina County grand jury indicted a man charged with the murder of his brother.

Back in April authorities said, Gary Hodges, 52, of Lufkin, admitted to hitting his brother in the head several times with a large object, killing him.

Hodges was arrested and charged with the murder of his brother, Kevin Hodges, 46.

According to Angelina County's Sheriff Henson, Gary came home from work and saw his brother leaving his Fuller Springs Home.

Authorities said there was a misunderstanding between the brothers over Gary's wife. Investigators said that's when Gary hit his brother three times in the head with a tire knocker.

The murder indictment along with 40 other Angelina County indictments were issued on last Thursday.
