Proud of East Texas: Margo Martindale

If you don't know her name, you're bound to know Margo Martindale's face. The Jacksonville actress has been in literally hundreds of motion pictures, television dramas, and stage productions. Martindale has already won a "Critics Choice Award" for her portrayal of Mags Bennet in the TV drama series "Justified." Now she's up for an Emmy" for the same part.

Martindale is a 1971 graduate of Lon Morris College, where she starred in a number of theater productions. In 1999, she recreated her Broadway role from "Always Patsy Cline", and brought her Broadway cast with her, as a fund raiser for the college. Proceeds were used to renovate the Lon Morris Fine Arts Building.
