Nacogdoches man dies in Angelina Co. wreck

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches man died Wednesday morning after hitting a vehicle in the opposite lane on State Highway 103 East.

A justice of the peace pronounced Roger Elmer Brown, 57, dead at the scene.

According to the DPS report, Brown was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup westbound on Hwy. 103 at 6:25 a.m. when he crossed the center stripe and hit a 2010 Dodge pickup, driven by Joshua Ryan Wylie, 19, of Granbury, who was driving westbound.

The report states Brown hit Wylie's vehicle in the left front side.

Wylie was not injured in the wreck. Brown was wearing a seatbelt. The accident occurred two-tenths of a mile east of Harley Golden Road.
