DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - The Diboll Lady Jacks turn their attention to Friday night's game against Kennard after a gruelling round of play Tuesday night.
"It was a late night for the Lady Jacks Tuesday night, as Latexo and Goodrich came to town. Playing a varsity tri-match can prove to be tiring, especially when the final whistle doesn't sound until 10:15 pm! But, it was worth it, as Diboll earned a split, defeating Latexo in a dramatic 5 game set, and losing to Goodrich in 4," stated Jeremy Stewart, Diboll Head Volleyball Coach.
Stewart said he got outstanding performances from:
Ivy Acevedo: 68 assists
Karah Phipps: 17 kills, 3 blocks, 6 aces
Jazzlynn Conway: 33 kills, 8 digs
Chassity Walker: 22 kills, 8 blocks
Paige Morgan: 34 digs, 3 aces
Noemi "Steve" Polacio:
Anabel Hernandez: 12 digs
Abbie Cardona: 6 aces, 10 digs
Cristina Ramos: 13 kills, 10 digs
The Lady Jacks' record falls to 9-13 on the season. Their next game is Friday at home vs. Kennard. Game time starts at 4:30 Friday afternoon with Varsity playing first, followed by Red team.
