Longtime Corrigan-Camden supporter dies

CORRIGAN, TX (KTRE) -

A longtime fan and supporter of Corrigan-Camden school died Wednesday. He was 55.

Harvey Martin Stewart Sr. worked as a PA announcer for the Bulldogs' football team and most recently as a timekeeper.

Stewart was also a minister at Prayer Tabernacle Church in Corrigan. He died from a heart attack.

Corrigan-Camden ISD issued a statement on Stewart's death.

"He was an avid football fan and very involved in helping the school. The school and community will miss him."

"He was a great, great man," said his son, Murrell Stewart.

The funeral for Stewart will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Corrigan-Camden High School.
