LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police have arrested a man accused of breaking into a pharmacy with a rock in February and stealing cigarettes.
Cody Wayne LeBlanc, 20, of Lufkin, was arrested on the offense of burglary of a building.
Back in February, Lufkin Police Officers responded to CVS Pharmacy on Lufkin Avenue in reference to a burglary alarm. Officers arrived and found that the front glass door had been shattered, according to the report.
After reviewing surveillance footage, officers began looking for a slim black man who threw a rock at the front door, according to the report.
The suspect jumped over the counter and took several packs of cigarettes then fled the scene.
