Trinity authorities' undercover bust nets 1 arrest

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

An undercover operation in the Trinity area has resulted in the arrest of a man in connection to cocaine dealing.

According to a Trinity County Constable Precinct 1 Facebook page, Deputy Constables Rusty Barrett and Ricky Hope developed a relationship with someone who said they could by crack cocaine and meth from dealers in the Trinity area.

The constable's office and Trinity Police arrested Jose Cunningham Jr., 19, at the entrance of Trinity Cove Subdivision, during an undercover drug operation Wednesday night.

Officer located six rocks of crack cocaine, a small amount of powder cocaine and a small set of scales where they believe Cunningham kept his drugs.

Cunningham is charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
