TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Trinity County authorities have arrested two men following an undercover drug operation in the Riverside area.

The Precint One Constable's Office and Trinity Police began the operation after developing a relationship with a confidential informant. The informant bought  six grams of meth at the intersection of Old Riverside Road and Ben Blair Road.

Officers caught up to the vehicle and arrested Richard Williamson, 51, and David Scruggs, 47, both of Riverside.

Both suspects are charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
