Baby suffers minor injury in three-vehicle wreck in Lufkin

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

An infant was taken to a Lufkin hospital after she suffered minor facial injuries in a three-vehicle wreck at Copeland Avenue and South John Redditt Drive Wednesday around 10 a.m.

According to Lufkin Police Officer Toby Stanaland, a Freightliner propane gas truck rear-ended a Ford Explorer, which caused that vehicle to rear-end a Chevy Pickup.

The baby was in the Explorer along with two adults.

Stanaland reported no passengers were riding in the Freightliner truck, nor in the pickup.

No other injuries were reported.

The propane gas truck is by owned FerrellGas, a Lufkin-based company.

Southbound traffic lanes on South John Redditt Drive was diverted for 30 minutes.

According to Lufkin Police, the baby suffered minor facial injuries in the crash.
