LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A diverse economy, growing work force and friendly business climate attract more businesses to the Lone Star state every day. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs' office regularly presents free taxpayer seminars throughout the state to help new and existing business owners learn about sales tax forms, filing and paying taxes electronically, taxable goods and services along with other information to help assist taxpayers.

The next seminar in the Lufkin area is scheduled for Thursday, Oct.13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Angelina College Small Business Development Center, located at 3500 S. First St.
Comptroller representatives will answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.
