NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Graylan Crawford may not be the biggest Lumberjack player on the field but on game day he plays that way. Right now Crawford leads the 'Jacks in touchdown receptions.
"It's a good feeling to score but I just make plays for the team," said Crawford. "Whatever I can do to help us win."
Crawford is also a threat to score on special teams he has four touchdown returns in his career. Crawford also ranks 12th in the nation with 162 all purpose yards per game.
"Special teams is a big part of the game because it puts the offense in good field position," said Crawford. "The coaches put me in a good position to make plays and that's what I'm going to go do to prove I belong out there."
Receivers coach Jake Willingham says its obvious why quarterback Brady Attaway likes throwing to sure-handed Crawford.
"Sometimes its not even the best match up on the field or the best option at the time, but quarterbacks usually throw it to someone they have confidence in," said Willingham. "Graylan is a guy that Attaway has a lot of confidence in."
