Deputy arrests final suspect in Nacogdoches Co. meth roundup

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The final suspect has been charged in a Nacogdoches County Constable's Office meth warrant roundup.

Constable Jason Bridges of Precinct One said a deputy caught Rebekah Lynn Middleton, 29, going to her mother's house in Nacogdoches County and arrested her on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.

Middleton was the last of 18 suspects charged following an undercover operation by Bridges' office.

Officers arrested 15 of the suspects on September 20. Since then, David Knight, 51, of Nacogdoches, turned himself in to authorities and authorities have served a warrant to Michael Birdwell, 33, who was serving time in prison.

Arrested on September 20 were Robin Stokes, 50; Carie Anns Durrett, 31; Sheila Holland, 46; Billy Husband, 44; Lavina Chesnutt Whiteside, 42; and Charles Oscar Hardin, 43; Scarlet Ann Schwiem, 48; Justin Bee Smith, 28; John Crawford, 36; Anna Craig, 38; Tammy Nevill, 35; Ricky Glenn Johnson Jr., 29; Torrence Devon Patton, 30; Kevin Sanders, 30; and Christy Tenison Harvey, 38.
