NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A murder-for-hire case which captured national attention from Nacogdoches County six years ago will be the subject of a cable network television show this week.
The episode features an interview with Shaina Sepulvado, who was found guilty of murdering her stepfather in Nacogdoches County. Sepulvado conspired with her mother and two friends to kill James Kelly.
"Prison Diaries shows where she is now and if her thoughts have changed any since her conviction in 2005," according to Mimi Honeycutt of TLC.
The episode chronicles Sepulvado's history with meth and a rocky relationship with her stepfather. It includes interviews with Sepulvado's mother, Marcia Kelly; Bill Ball and Doug Richardson of the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office; former District Attorney Stephanie Stephens; and defense attorney John Heath.
