CENTER, TX (KTRE) - A Shelby County grand jury has indicted a Lufkin man on charges he had sex with a young boy.
According to the victim's mother, Richard Adams, sexually assaulted her son when he was 12. Her son is now 18.
Adams was arrested in Angelina County in February and arraigned on the charge in Shelby County.
The grand jury indicted Adams on four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child on October 5. He has not yet been re-arrested on the new charges.
The victim's mother said all four counts are in connection to her son, and she wanted to get word out about the indictment in case there are other victims that want to come forward.
