San Augustine's Kadafy Davis makes this week's Play of the Week

EAST TEXAS (KTRE) – There is no doubt about it, this week's Friday Night Madness LIVE! high school football Play of the Week was a tough call.

The finalists were:

Number 28, Dominique Wheeler of Crockett and his leap to land a catch and subsequent scramble down the field for the touchdown for Crockett.  Crockett went on to beat Troup 48-13.

Running back Kadafy Davis' magic act made the list.  Kadafy on a hand-off, looks to be down but manages to evade his defender, plowing over the tackler and sprints to the end zone for the score.  San Augustine upsets Corrigan 30-22.

Hemphill's Justin Twine is no stranger to the spotlight.  He made the Play of the Week finals with a touchdown scoring quarterback keeper.  This high scoring double overtime match ended 56-54, Hemphill over New Waverly.

Play number 2 is your voters choice this week, that great effort from Kadafy Davis is this week's favorite with 36% of the vote, Crockett's Dominque Wheeler's touchdown catch and run garnered 34% of the vote, while Hemphill's Justin Twine's touchdown run received 29%.

Thanks to everyone who participated.  Look for a whole new list of contenders during Friday Night Madness LIVE! at 11:05 pm this Friday.
