LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Texas Department of Public Safety and law enforcement agencies in Arkansas are looking for a woman believed to be in Lufkin and wanted on outstanding warrants.
Karen Haney Renfro, 43, was last seen in Lufkin on October 16, and is believed to be staying in Lufkin motels and frequently changing rooms.
She has been arrested and booked into the Angelina County Jail six times since November 2008 for various offenses, including DWI and cocaine charges. On September 3, 2011, she allegedly led Angelina County law enforcement in a vehicle chase that ended only after officers stopped her vehicle with gunfire.
She is wanted by the Nevada County, Ark., Sheriff's Office for failure to appear on a possession of cocaine charge and by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for possession of dangerous drugs.
Anyone with information on Renfro should can call Crime Stoppers at 936-639-TIPS and leave an anonymous tip. Anyone with information that could lead to her arrest can receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
