Zavalla's Ellermann advances to season finale

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Zavalla native Dustin Ellermann advanced to the season finale of "Top Shot" Tuesday night after easily winning immunity in a individual challenge.

Ellermann competed in a contest with an SP89 handgun on a rotating contraption. Ellermann hit 12 of 20 targets. The first-place finisher, Chris Collins, also hit 12 targets but won a tiebreaker as he spent 18 rounds against Ellermann's 19.

According to Ellermann, the public is invited to a watch party next week at Lufkin First Assembly of God Church.

The episode begins at 9 p.m. next Tuesday on the History Channel.
