Soldier Killed in Iraq

The Department of Defense says 21-year-old, Private First Class, Stuart Moore of Livingston, was killed in Baghdad on Monday. An Army spokesman says Moore and another soldier from Montana died when an explosive device struck their convoy.

"We had soldiers from the First Armored Division who were killed by a roadside bomb. Also, an Iraqi interpreter who was with them was also killed. And two other soldiers were wounded. They were hospitalized," said the Army spokesman.

The East Texas News will have more information on Stuart Moore's death as soon as it becomes available.
