NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches man is going to trial in connection to the armed robbery of an SFA student in January.
DeMarcus Andre Wade, 23, is charged with aggravated robbery.
Attorneys from both sides selected the jury Monday morning.
According to SFA Police, a man said he was approached by two black males in a gold Toyota Camry in the parking lot between Hall 14 and Lumberjack Lodge. The passenger pulled a handgun and demanded the man's wallet and cell phone. The suspects then left the area going west on East College Street.
A jury in May sentenced Wade's co-defendant, Jerry Don Thorn, to 35 years in prison.
