Rangers need 1 more

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The Texas Rangers can clinch their first-ever World Series championship tonight with a win in Game 6 against the Cardinals. But the weather may not cooperate as there is rain in the St. Louis forecast.

If they do play, Jaime Garcia will start on the mound for the Cardinals and Colby Lewis will go for the Rangers. Lewis has looked strong in the postseason compiling a 1-1 record with a 2.95 ERA in three starts. He held St. Louis to a run over 6 2/3 innings in Game 2 but didn't' figure in the decision. Garcia also got a no-decision in Game 2 despite working seven scoreless innings.

If the rain holds off and the Cardinals even the series, Game 7 would be Thursday night at Busch Stadium.
