Lufkin Panthers prepare for last home game, tickets on sale Thursday

The Lufkin Panthers will play their final regular season home game this Friday night against Kingwood in a huge district 14-5A game with playoff implications.

Lufkin is undefeated in district with a 4-0 record. While Kingwood comes into the game boasting a 3-1 record so far.

Panther fans are preparing for the final home football game of the season Friday night too. Tickets go on sale Thursday morning, October 27, at 7 – 3 p.m. and 7 a.m.-noon on Friday at LISD Transportation (bus barn), 811 S. Timberland Drive.

Pre-sale tickets are $7.00 each for reserved seating for the home side only.  General admission and reserve for the visitors' side will be sold only at the gate on the visitors' side.  Tickets at the gate are $6.00 general admission and $7.00 reserve.

Gates open at Abe Martin Stadium in Lufkin at 5:30 Friday afternoon and kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

The Panthers are coming off a blowout, 63 - 0, win against Oak Ridge last Saturday.  Jamarcus Walker ran for 156 yards and five touchdowns on just eight carries to beat the War Eagles at home at Woodforest Bank Stadium.

The Panthers will close out their regular season away on November 4 against College Park.
