Inside East Texas: "Successful Weight Management"


We are right in the middle of the holiday season.  During this time of the year fattening holiday food constantly surrounds us.  As a matter of fact, most Americans gain between five and ten pounds over the holidays alone. This week's show is designed to help you shed those holiday pounds and then some.

One of the most common New Year's resolutions is losing weight and getting in shape.  Before you say, "It's just too hard," or "I can't do it," join us for 30 minutes as we hear from two different experts who know the key to successfully managing weight.

We cover questions like how important is exercise to weight loss?  How do you choose the proper diet?  What are the benefits of aerobic exercise?  What are the benefits of resistance training?  What are the benefits of surgery?  We'll also hear some success stories on weight loss.
