Downtown Lufkin merchants planning treats for Halloween guests October 31st

LUFKIN, TX - On Monday, October 31st Main Street Lufkin will present the 22nd annual Downtown Lufkin Halloween Trick-Or-Treat.

Downtown merchants and professionals will welcome little munchkins for their annual Trick or Treating event, offering safe Trick-or-Treating during daylight hours from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31st.

Participating businesses and offices can be identified by Halloween decorations at their entrance.  "All kids twelve and under are invited to participate and all must be accompanied by a parent or guardian," said Barbara Thompson, Main Street Director. 

Thompson noted that this year several businesses and organizations from outside the downtown area will be joining downtown to participate adding more fun to the event.
