TRINITY, TX (KTRE) -

Trinity Police officers arrested two men Wednesday night in a raid on a hookah bar.

According to Constable Woody Wallace, whose office assisted in the raid, officers began an undercover operation around 7:30 p.m., at Trinity House of Hookah, buying synthetic drugs inside the building.

Officers obtained a search warrant and arrested two men, Matthew Stackpole, charged with delivery of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance; and Joseph Hicks, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Wallace said officers confiscated anything that promoted illegal substances and sexually explicit items that are banned in Trinity without a proper license.

He said the owners of the business live out of town and officers have not yet been able to contact them.
