LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Diboll man pleaded guilty Monday morning to driving drunk with a child passenger and accepted a 10-month state jail sentence.
Anthony James Russaw, 30, also pleaded guilty to a separate felony DWI charge, accepting a three-year prison sentence in District Judge Barry Bryan's courtroom.
A state trooper said he pulled over the Cadillac of Anthony James Russaw, 30, in July, for speeding, on State Highway 94 in Angelina County, near the Trinity County line. He said he had him step out of the car and, after talking to Russaw, determined he was intoxicated.
Pitts said Russaw failed a field sobriety test and had his three-year-old stepdaughter in the car.
