Lufkin Businessman Enters Race For State Rep

A Lufkin businessman has announced he will run for state representative of District 12 as a Republican.

Jody Anderson, a native of Lufkin, co-owns R&H Mobile Housing with his business partner, Bo Letney.  He has served as Executive Director of Texas' Manufactured Housing Association since July 2002.

Anderson says he has developed good working relationships with the state's Republican leadership.  He says he would work hard to provide effective leadership for the people of District 12, which includes Angelina, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Tyler counties.

Anderson faces former state representative Billy Clemons in the Republican primary on March 9th.  The winner will challenge the Democratic incumbent, Jim McReynolds of Lufkin, in the November general election.
