Many of life's lessons are learned the hard way, and as far as the Columbia disaster goes, we definitely learned a lot.
The things we found out in the past year will help build a better space program in the future. We learned that we cannot always pass over the little things, and perhaps most importantly, we learned humility, and that we cannot control everything.
