BREAKING NEWS: Husband Arrested for Helping Mother

Authorities in Polk County have charged 39 year-old Billy Hill, the husband of Tabitha Boone, with tampering with physical evidence. According to Polk County Sheriff Billy Ray Nelson, Hill has confessed to helping Boone bury the body of 4 year-old Anthony Boone.

Officials say Boone confessed last week to grabbing her son by the throat and throwing him across the room after he had repeated fits. Boone told police she came out of her bedroom the next morning and found her son's cold, stiff body lying on his pallet on the floor. The boy's body was found last week buried behind their home, Tabitha Boone had covered it with lime to keep animals away.

An autopsy determined that the boy had died of strangulation on September 23, 2003. The charges Hill faces are a third degree felony which is punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.

The Anthony Boone's funeral is scheduled for Friday at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.
