Nacogdoches welcomes new "E-cycle" location

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful hosts an "E-cycle day" at its new permanent location behind the public library in Nacogdoches.

The organization has partnered with STS Recycling to accept donations. They accept all electronics from vacuums, to cell phones, computers and more, however, TVs aren't accepted. If you have a large donation of computers, give Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful a call and they can schedule to pick them up.

"STS Recycling out of Jacksonville, Texas was good enough to provide us the building, and it's, as I say, been a long time coming," said Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful Executive Coordinator, Buzz Dutton. "So, we're very happy that we're able to provide this service to the community."

If you missed the first weekend's collection, donations can be dropped off every Thursday and the second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The new location is intended to lessen the landfill's burden by recycling electronics.
