LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Hudson Police have arrested a man two months after a car accident after his blood-alcohol test showed he was driving at three times the legal limit, according to Lt. Jimmy Casper.
Casper said Jacob Nathaniel Jordan, 30, of Lufkin, was involved in a car accident on FM 706, on September 18, in which two people were injured. Both suffered bone fractures and one was in the hospital for a month, Casper said.
Casper said police sent a blood sample from Jordan for testing and it came back recently showing his blood-alcohol level at three times the legal limit.
He was booked into the Angelina County Jail on Thursday on two counts of intoxicated assault. He remains in the jail on a collective bail bond of $15,000.
Jordan has seven prior arrests at the Angelina County Jail, including charges of DWI and possession of marijuana.
