Nacogdoches Police release video of Sunday robbery

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police have released surveillance video from a convenience store robbery on Sunday.

According to police, a black man entered a store located at 3228 North St. at 5 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect said he had a gun, but never showed it.

The man took an undetermined amount of cash from the register, then ran away from the area.

He is described as having a skinny build and 5'8" tall. He was wearing a tan hoodie with black or dark blue hood and shoulders and a white cloth over his face.

The video shows a man walk into the store and the convenience store clerk says, "hello."

The man then demands the register be opened and the clerk said, "for real?"

"Yeah, for real," he said. "You think I'm playing?"

"Yeah," she said.

The woman then holds the register open as the man takes the money and runs out. The clerk then calmly walks to a phone before the video ends.
