A man who pleaded guilty in the death of an SFA student in 2009 is going to prison after violating his probation.

Marlon Randle was arrested on in September after he fled law enforcement on a traffic stop. On Friday, he pleaded guilty, accepting a seven-year prison sentence.

Randle received a probation sentence after pleading guilty to aggravated assault in the March 2009 death of Charles Frazar, in what Nacogdoches Police say was a drug deal gone bad.

Randle, Okeiron Bowser and Marsh Odom had originally been charged with murder. Bowser and Odom are serving prison sentences for pleading guilty to aggravated assault.
