Bush to Deliver State of the Union

A White House spokesman says in the State of the Union address tonight, President Bush will propose a job re-training program to help workers adapt to a changing economy.

On ABC's "Good Morning America," communications director Dan Bartlett said Bush will discuss how to give people the skills they need to compete in the economy of the 21st century. Aides say Bush will also seek to convince Americans that his series of tax cuts has turned the economy around, and that he is now turning his attention to job creation.

The address to Congress and the nation tonight will open with remarks on national security.
