LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man has pleaded guilty to his part in a shooting at a Lufkin business in February 2010, accepting a probation sentence.
Edgar Arevalo, 22, will also serve 120 days in prison as part of the probation, which will last five years.
Arevalo was arrested with Gustavo Cesar Garza, 28, of Lufkin, after they rammed the vehicle belonging to the owner of Unique Toyz, located at 1505 N. Timberland Drive, then opened fire at the business once the owner arrived there. Nobody was hurt in either incident.
Arevalo pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Garza received a three-year prison sentence in July 2010.
