Police report catching Galveston duo with 22 lbs of weed

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

The Nacogdoches Police drug interdiction program claimed two Galveston suspects following a traffic stop Sunday afternoon.

According to the police report, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Chevy Suburban on the 3200 block of Southwest Stallings Drive at 2:37 p.m., after the driver violated multiple traffic violations.

William Brent Golliday, 26, and Eugene Santino Tillman, 30, showed nervous behavior and gave conflicting stories, according to the report. They allowed the officer to search the vehicle and he reported finding 22.8 pounds of marijuana in the rear hatch of the SUV, according to the report.

They are charged with possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony.
