NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A man suspected of writing a bomb threat on the side of a port-a-potty on the construction site of a biomass power plant in Nacogdoches County is now out of jail after posting bond Tuesday afternoon.
Nacogdoches County Jail records show Joseph Walker Boster, 23, of Houston, Mo., posted a $7,500 bail.
The Southern Power Plant in Sacul shut down last week after a bomb threat was found written on the side of a port-a-potty Monday evening.
Plant officials were planning on shutting down for only Thanksgiving, but since they had to shut down Monday night, they opted to keep it shuttered for the rest of the week.
Investigators with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office connected Boster to the crime after taking witness statements. He was arrested Monday morning after showing up to work for Fagan, the construction company employed by Southern Power.
