Shelby County issues alert for missing man

SHELBY COUNTY, TX (News Release) -

Sheriff Newton Johnson reports that a white male subject has been reported missing from Shelby County. The family of David Earl Ross reports Ross was last seen on Sunday evening, November 27, 2011, around 5:00pm when he left his home in the Ragtown area. Ross was reportedly wearing a red ball cap, checkered purple & green shirt, plaid jacket, gray sweat pants and white tennis shoes.

Ross left home without his wallet or medication and did not tell any other family members t he was leaving or where he was going.

David Ross is described as a W/M, 6'3" and 230 Lbs, 75 years of age, driving a 1998 light blue Ford extended cab P/U with Texas License Plate #31G-PN8.
