NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Houston man accused of trying to traffic 800 prescription pills on U.S. 59 pulled a no-show for a court appearance in Nacogdoches on Wednesday.
A warrant is now out for the arrest of Charles Ray Perkins Jr., 31.
A Pct. 4 Nacogdoches County deputy constable arrested Perkins in June after pulling him over for a seat belt violation.
Deputy Constable Rusty Allen said Perkins and two others in the car, Gretchen Pierce and Kayln Sells, were acting nervous during the stop. Allen received consent to search the vehicle and found 800 Hydrocodone pills in the vehicle.
