LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police have arrested a Houston man accused of selling crack cocaine to a confidential informant on three occasions earlier this year.
According to an arrest affidavit, Jomo Kynyatah Thompson, 30, sold crack cocaine to an informant earlier in 2011. Because the cocaine was sold within 1,000 feet of a daycare in Lufkin, Thompson's charge is enhanced to a third-degree felony.
Thompson was booked into the Angelina County Jail on Thursday on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone. His bond has not yet been set.
